HP Pavilion dual core laptop - spares or repair ?

For sale is my broken Hewlet Packard laptop If you turn it on, the blue buttons on top light up but there is no picture. After 2-3 seconds it turns itself off, and comes back on again with no picture. Battery used to last for around 30 minutes. There is NO HARD DRIVE in the laptop. Nice condition I took good care of it, have no idea why it died.
